Hosting, server log files and processing (Cloudflare)

This website is operated on the Cloudflare Workers platform (delivery of the pages via Cloudflare's content delivery network, including security functions to fend off attacks). The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA ("Cloudflare"), which processes the data on our behalf as a processor (Art 28 GDPR; Cloudflare data processing agreement).

For technical reasons, in particular to ensure a secure and stable website, your browser transmits data to Cloudflare's servers. These server log files include the type and version of your browser, the operating system, the referrer URL, the page visited, the date and time of access and the IP address. For error analysis and to secure operation we use Cloudflare's "Workers Logs", which stores information on each request and response. These data are stored temporarily and deleted after seven days at the latest, unless further retention is required for evidence purposes. Legal basis: Art 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the improvement, stability, functionality and security of our website.

Cloudflare may also process data in the USA. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is based on the adequacy decision of the EU Commission (Art 45 GDPR) and additionally on standard contractual clauses. More information: Cloudflare privacy policy.

Email addresses on this website are obfuscated against spam by Cloudflare's "Email Address Obfuscation" and made readable in your browser by a small script loaded from this website itself (path /cdn-cgi/). No cookies are set and no additional data are transmitted to third parties.

Cookies and privacy settings

This website only sets one strictly necessary cookie ("sl_consent", first party, 1 year) that stores your privacy settings. It is only set once you make a choice in the banner. Third-party content (e.g. maps, videos, social media) would only be loaded with your consent (Art 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 165 (3) Austrian TKG 2021); the website currently does not embed any such content. No analytics or marketing tools and no third-party cookies are used. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
